Inscriptions very light browning, marbled e.ps., gilt fillet edged tree calf, extremities rubbed, dec. gilt compartments and gilt lettered title labels to spines, upper joint to vol. 2 lightly cracked though firm, vol. 1. sympathetically rebacked with original spine laid down, handsome set.

It teems with projects for construction of harbours, the opening of new communications by road and canal, and the introduction of new industries. There are also important references to trade with East and West Indies, America, and Canada, and notes on various American colonies and towns. In volume two, pages 634-94 are concerned with the British colonies and settlements in America.
